Symptoms of macular degeneration
The most common symptoms of AMD are blurred or reduced central vision or distortion of objects when looking directly at them. Risk factors for macular degeneration
Risk factors for developing AMD include:

Types & treatments

Wet AMD

Treatment for wet AMD can involve medications such as anti-VEGF eye injections to reduce swelling and prevent leakage from abnormal blood vessels. Laser surgery may also be used to seal these vessels off from leaking more fluid into the eye.
