Once the oils are adequately softened, our eye doctor will use specialized instruments to manually express the meibomian glands. Following the treatment, our optometrist may provide you with specific post-care instructions. These instructions may include the use of lubricating eye drops and warm compresses to optimize the healing process and promote the continued health of your tear glands.
What to expect during the TearCare® treatment
